Change Can Revive the BodyThere’s a well-known saying: “A change is as good as a rest.”

While I’ve been busy planning my move into a new location, more on that later, this phrase has been at the front of my mind. And it turns out; it doesn’t just apply to business, it applies to the human body too.

When it comes to movement, exercise, and recovery, our bodies thrive on variety. Just as a new environment can bring fresh energy to your workday, introducing small changes in the way you move can breathe new life into your body.

Why Routine Isn’t Always Best

Routines are comforting, but over time the body adapts to repetitive movements. That’s why someone who always takes the same running route or sits in the same posture at work may start to experience aches, stiffness, or even injuries. The muscles, joints, and connective tissues stop being challenged in different ways, and tension can build up.

By switching things up, whether that’s adding a new stretch, trying a different workout, or even walking a new route, you stimulate different muscles and improve overall mobility.

The Power of Small Changes

Think of your body like your workspace. Moving furniture around, getting more light, or upgrading your chair can completely change how you feel during the day. The same applies to your body. My Own Change

For me, planning my move into a new location has created a surge of motivation. It’s not just a change of scenery, it’s a shift in perspective. I’m excited to welcome both existing and new clients into a space that feels energised and ready for growth.
