Building a Strong BodyEngaging in sports and activities that challenge you mentally and physically, will, over time, increase your mental and physical health. What challenges you, changes you. Maybe you fancy trying a new activity to get you fitter? But maybe you do not feel fit enough to take part? If you are a complete beginner to exercise, then start with walking and maybe a beginner’s class in yoga or Pilates, or something that involves moving a little extra weight than just body weight.

Give your chosen sport or activity a go!

Once you feel capable at those levels, then give your chosen sport or activity a go. Hinckley has many activities to choose from, and many great gyms too. Still not sure if there is a chosen sport for you? Not sure that you’re doing the right things for your body? Maybe an injury is preventing you from taking part in much at all? Get booked in with myself or Jen for a sports massage to get quick help in feeling better, and to receive personalised advice about what to do next.

If you know you won’t get moving without a little more help, then get in touch about Personal Training to guide you to getting strong enough to give your choice of fitness a go. Even just 5 minutes a day of focused training can be enough to get you on the path to being stronger and more capable in your life. Even if you are dealing with chronic ill-health, there is often a little something that can be achieved to help mitigate some of the negative effects of inactivity, although it is worth checking in with your doctor before starting a new routine.
