Fitness GoalsIf you’re struggling with setting yourself some SMART goals, or you can’t seem to get past your first or second small goals, then maybe it is time to get a little help with them.

If you have an injury or something hurts and that is preventing you from reaching your goals, then please do get yourself booked in with myself or Jen at and keep yourself on your wagon.

Are you struggling with progression, or you just don’t feel you are doing things quite right, then maybe you could do with advice from a Personal Trainer, or join a group exercise class where you can get advice from the class leader. Being a part of a group can also help with your motivation, as you are bound to feel more committed once you make acquaintances and friends, especially when they look forward to seeing you next week and want to work out with you. It doesn’t even have to be a workout class, it could be a group for kickboxing, or for open water swimming, two activities I decided to take up last year to widen my circle of experience. They are still exercise and activity, depending on the level you practise it at, and you’re learning something new too!

Have a think about the wide range of activities and groups available in Hinckley and see what you fancy. There’s Archery, Swimming, Gyms, CrossFit, kickboxing, judo, taekwondo, horse riding, LARPing, football, rugby, netball, hockey, badminton, squash, tennis, running, rambling, gymnastics, cheerleading, skating, line dancing, rock ‘n’ roll jiving, climbing, singing, boxing… and they are just the ones I know are available locally. I bet there are plenty others, get out there and make this your best year yet!
