Have You Introduced Any Movement Variations?Hello and welcome to the fourth October blog, Have You Introduced Any Movement Variations?

Variety in your movements is absolutely key to having a healthy and active body for right now, and for the rest of your life.

Have you tried to introduce any movement variations into your week since my last blog? Don’t worry if you haven’t, it can take some time to set a new routine in place, but do try to find some time to research the kind of movement you would like to do, depending on what your sticking points are. Is poor movement at the shoulder preventing you from achieving a good shoulder press? What about your ankles from preventing you from sitting in a deep squat? Perhaps it’s your hips from stopping you from squatting properly- and this could in turn lead to hip pain, low back discomfit, trouble running, and difficulty making progress in many different sports and activities.

Start with small amounts of focused mobility and flexibility work, resting for a few days in between until you’ve built up some strength for your new regime.

Exciting Announcement!

I hadn’t forgotten that I had mentioned that there would be an exciting announcement in this weeks blog, and here it is!

I am launching a Facebook Group very soon to help you with exactly the problems around movement variation and painful joints and muscles I have mentioned. If you would like to be amongst the first few joining the group and enjoy the benefits of some great free information, challenges, videos and more, helping you to move well and give you ideas on how to achieve that, then send me an email [email protected] saying ‘I’m in!’ And I will email you the day the group launches! I look forward to having you there.

And until then, work on finding some movement that works for you. Remember, Movement is medicine.

In the meantime, if you would like some hands on help to increase your joints capability of movement, get yourself booked in for a Sports Massage at www.astralfitness.co.uk and if you are feeling a little more adventurous, why not enquire about some Personal Training sessions to get you started in being more active.

Please enquire through my Facebook page facebook.com/astralsportsmassage or via email to [email protected]

Thank you for taking the time to read todays blog – Have You Introduced Any Movement Variations? See you next time!
