Your Body Wants to MoveDid you ever wake up one morning and have a crick in your neck? Or a pain in your back between your should blades? Maybe you are slow to get out of bed because more things hurt first thing in the morning before you have gotten warmed up and moving. Or are you one of the people whose feet are tender and sore upon those first few steps of the day?

Your Body Wants to Move

All of these pain problems have the same thing in common – the pain is triggered by moving your body…

and all of these pain problems have the same solution – movement. Bit of an oxymoron, right? I’ll come back to that later on in this months blogs.

If you were expecting me to say Sports Massage would be the solution, because that’s how Jen and I help all of you and our other lovely clients move in healthier ways, but you are wrong on this occasion. Because the one thing that works even better than Sports Massage, is movement.

Your body was made to move, and to move in a variety of ways. When you deny it of that essential movement, pain can set in or you can experience injury or a reduction in your ability to move your joints in all their ranges of movement. Ever heard the phrase, ‘Use it or Lose it’? well it is especially true of your body.

Your body is a miracle of biomechanical evolution.

If you are sat reading this and you have the ability to move, then get out there and move your body to keep aches and pains at bay.

Where does Sports massage belong when it comes to movement? Sometimes muscles misbehave, and that is what Jen and I can help you resolve, so that you can get out there enjoying movement without fearing an injury, or living with pain.

Get yourself booked in now to enjoy Christmas with happy muscles.

Thank you for taking time to read this week’s blog – Your Body Wants to Move.
